Albania’s KESH sells 75,600 MWh of electricity for Jan 22- Feb 4 delivery
TIRANA (Albania), January 22 (SeeNews) – Albania’s state-owned power corporation KESH said on Monday it has sold a total of 75,600 MWh of electricity worth 2,86 million euro ($3.5 million) for delivery in the January 22 – February 4 period.
KESH announced and concluded the auction on January 20, with the highest price offered set as the most important criteria, according to the final report on bids posted on the corporate website.
Nine domestic and foreign power suppliers and traders participated in the auction, and KESH selected two of them: EFT AG and GSA.
The prices achieved in the auction were 37.78 euro/MWh for the first lot and 37.8 euro/MWh for the second lot.
