HPP Llarionas

15 significant Hydroelectric Power Plants in the rivers Nestos, Aliakmonas, Edessaios, Aoos, Acheloos, Tavropos, Arachthos and Ladonas

HPP Llarionas will annually produce approximately 330 GWh of electricity from clean renewable resources, contributing to the optimal utilization of the Aliakmonas river. PPC schedules the integration of new hydroelectric power plants Metsovitiko of 29 MW and Mesohora of 160 MW.

HPP Ulog

EFT Group, Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina

Installed capacity is 35 MW with annual production of 85,000 GWh. Total project capex is EUR 70 million. Site preparation activities have been completed and permitting documentation is being finalized. Construction commencement is scheduled for 2018; expected commercial operation — 2021.

5 HPPs reconstruction

National Electricity Company (NEK), EBRD, Bulgaria

The project stipulates for the rehabilitation of 864 MW Chaira Pumped Storage Hydro Power Plant (PSHPP), 75 MW Belmeken PSHPP, 240 MW Sestrimo HPP, 120 MW Momina Klisura HPP, 14 MW Vacha-1 HPP, 110 kV switchyard and other HPP systems of integrated control.

Elektroprivreda Srpske/ Hidroelektrane na Trebišnjici, Republic of Srpska, Bosnia & Herzegovina

HPP Dabar is the first and the most important plant in the whole system. Seventy percent of its initial capital is provided by the company Hidroelektrane na Trebišnjici, while the remaining 30% are provided by State‑Owned Elektroprivreda Srpske.

HPP Kalivac construction

Albanian Ministry of Energy and Industry

The Albanian Ministry of Energy and Industry announced a tender for the construction of Kalivac hydropower plant (100 MW) on the Vjosa River and a concession to produce power for the national grid for a period of 35 years. The private/public partnership project includes the construction of a dam and a hydropower plant.

Zagreb na Savi

Zagreb na Savi is designed as a sustainable investment with a long-term sustainable solution which envisages: construction of 10 hydropower plants (HPPs) in the Sava River, construction of 17 new bridges (10 on HPPs, 7 crossing the Canal), reconstruction of 6 bridges on the Sava-Odra Canal.
