BELGRADE (Serbia), October 12 (SeeNews) – Serbian heating and air conditioning solutions developer Dadanco Europe has said it plans to start the commercialisation of its 10xHydro turbine globally within the next 12 months.

The company has completed performance research and has identified beta sides for its application, CEO Vladimir Petrovic said in the Technology Fast 50 Central Europe 2017 report of Deloitte issued on Thursday.

The 10xHydro solution uses microgrid technology to recover some of the pumping energy already used and return it to the building. It regenerates almost half of the energy of the fluid available in the pipe network for a return to the building or storage in batteries, Petrovic noted.

“Essentially, we have found a way to regenerate energy within a building’s piping systems,” Petrovic said. “This means that we can turn every building into a hydropower plant.”

Dadanco Europe has received the Most Disruptive Innovation award in the 2017 edition of the report. The award acknowledges the inventiveness and deep technological know-how of Dadanco Europe, which is enabling the company to develop solutions with the potential to significantly disrupt established markets and value networks, Deloitte said.

Petrovic established Dadanco Europe in January 2015. The company acquired an exclusive license from US company Mestek to manufacture Energy Efficient Heating, Ventilating & Air Conditioning (HVAC) products of its Dadanco brand.
